Watersport Activities

Aruba has lots and lots of water(sport) activities. Besides that, you also have a lot of tour operators to choose from. More or less all offer the same. Wind Surfing / Kitesurfing

At Hadicurari beach it is possible to take lessons or to rent materials for kite or wind surfing.

Fishing

You can choose between a 4 hour boat trip in the morning or afternoon. All materials are included and if you want you can take some of the caught fish with you to put on the barbecue. Soda’s and some snack are included.

Diving

One of the most unforgettable experiences while in Aruba is scuba diving. Divers see a fabulous array of corals and fish. Swimming slowly over the corals, you’re bound to see lobsters, moray eels and other exotic sea life. If you’re lucky, you may even come across an energetic dolphin or a gentle sea turtle.

We recommend Happy Divers. They dive with small groups, have well trained guides, well maintained equipment and take pictures which you will get for free.

Seabob

 Snorkel Boat tour

Start your day off in paradise with a snorkel tour. You haven’t seen Aruba until you’ve viewed it while sailing along the coast. This four hour excursion will also bring you to the Island’s top snorkeling sites. Catalina Bay, Arashi Reef, and the famous World War II wreck, the Antilla.

This memorable day of sailing and snorkeling also includes a buffet lunch or snacks and open bar. Snorkel equipment and instruction is provided.

Afternoon Boat tour

Head out to the most famous snorkel spot in Aruba – the Antilla Ship Wreck. Dip your mask underwater, kick your fins, and discover the 400 foot long wreck, which is now home to a variety of tropical fish and colorful coral. Along the way, you’ll also stop at Catalina Bay which is ideal for beginner snorkelers. This 3 hour excursion includes open bar, snacks, snorkeling equipment and instruction.

 Sunset Sail

Enjoy sipping a cocktail from the Open Bar, while sailing Aruba waters, as the sun sets into a pink kaleidoscope sky across Aruba. This relaxing sail is the perfect way to end the day and enjoy snacks and open bar.

Atlantis submarines

The Atlantis Submarines Expedition Tour begins at the Adventure Center in downtown Oranjestad where you will take a short transfer to the submarine onboard the shuttle vessel SubSeeker.

You will have the opportunity to get an up close view of exotic marine life while diving to depths up to 130 feet. Be amazed by colorful schools of tropical fish, huge sponge gardens, the mystical beauties of the coral fields and two sunken wrecks.

The educational and entertaining narration of our experienced, professional, and licensed crew will highlight this unique experience. All of this is in air-conditioned comfort without getting wet! The Submarine is U.S. Coast guard approved and Green Globe certified.

Sea World explore

The Seaworld Explorer Semi-Submarine is a state-of-the-art semi-submarine developed in Australia for use on the Great Barrier Reef. This unique vessel does not submerge. You step down into the hull of this cruising underwater observatory and sit in air-conditioned comfort just 5 feet below the water’s surface, viewing amazing Aruba sea life through large clear glass windows.

Your journey begins at the Palm Pier located on the beach in front of the Radisson Resort where you board a transfer boat that takes you to the Seaworld Explorer Semi-Submarine waiting near the renowned Arashi Reef.

Our skilled captain will guide the semi-submarine through this wondrous reef filled with beautiful coral formations and spectacular tropical fish. Your narrator will entertain you with educational and informative narrative about various species of marine you will see. The final portion of your journey is a relaxing cruise to shore.

Palm Island

De Palm Island is an all-inclusive island just outside the shore of Aruba. Just bring your towel, swimwear and camera and enjoy.

If you want to go beyond snorkeling and experience the world’s underwater beauty in the safest and easiest way possible, try SNUBA. No dive certification required. With SNUBA you can breathe easily underwater without wearing heavy, restrictive dive gear. Discover incredible coral formations and schools of tropical fish as you glide effortlessly under the surface. SNUBA is safe family fun, and it’s easy to learn. No prior diving or snorkeling experience is required and the minimum age is 8 years old.

Your professionally trained SNUBA guide will personally take you on an underwater tour of the beautiful marine environment.

There is a minimum age required of 8 years old and If you have one of these conditions: Pregnancy, recent surgery, high blood pressure, epilepsy, seizures and asthma, a doctor’s letter is required in order to participate.

 Sea Trek

An underwater experience available nowhere else on Aruba.

Participants put on specially designed diving helmets to walk the sea floor on a custom walkway below the surface. Even non-swimmers and those who don’t snorkel can feed the tropical fish.
